Kent State Student Media Recognized at College Media Business and Advertising Managers Annual Convention

Kent, OH-- Several members of Kent State Student Media attended the College Media Business and Advertising Managers (CMBAM) 47th annual convention in La Jolla, CA.

This year, Kent State Student Media received the following awards:

Tami Bongiorni was also awarded the JoAnn Daughtee Distinguished Service Award, an award given to advisers that represent dedication, commitment and sacrifice to the betterment and value of student media programs of both their campus and the nation as a whole. Only thirteen people in the nation have received this award.

CMBAM provides learning and career opportunities through conventions and member communications as well as fosters leadership development, strives for the highest standards of industry knowledge and continues to be an advocate for its members. These awards further position Kent State Student Media as a leading organization that settles for nothing less than excellence.
